Sometimes, it is better to invest in baby sleeping aids. There are many different kinds of toys that and products specifically designed to help babies count sheep. One of the most effective is an automatic rocker. The rocker is mechanical in nature and helps a baby to relax by swinging exactly 60 rhythms per second. The speed is adjustable. Most of these products are pediatrics certified as they adhere to the natural cyclic rotations that the baby is used to inside a mother's womb. Another effective product is a motorized cradle or a bassinet which actually provides constant thrusting motion like a washing machine. New-born really like the oscillatory motions which help them fall asleep quickly.
There are many instances in which young moms put a baby in child seat on top of a washing machine. Never do it! It is unsafe. Also, due to the inquisite nature of babies to investigate their surroundings, they develop a natural tendency to be attracted to such products. When they are able to walk, they will come back to examine the washing machine.

Parents use it because it has proven itself, time and time again. Yes, over-reliance is bad but than excess of everything is bad. Isn't it?
